Creative Cooking

Measuring cups are a perfect medium for creativity. They are generally solid muted colors, with little or no embellishment whatsoever.

I accomplished this concentration project by using motor strokes on the bottoms of the cups only. This way every time Mom scoops something she will be reminded that creativity resides in the kitchen too.

This is part of the ongoing couch series. I've juxtaposed the free organic motor stroke against the ridged pattern of the upholstery in sharpie. This one is an archival piece.
